Job Summary:

Signature Consultants in looking for an UX/Visual Designer III for a %3Dn opportunity with a client located in Mountain View, CA.

We're looking for a senior UX/product designer to own and lead one or more features related to how users add, use, fix, and manage their various payment methods when making a purchase on any one of our products. You will be a thought partner to product managers and engineers by navigating ambiguity and applying design thinking to contribute to early product definition and strategy. You will work in tight collaboration with user research to develop deep user insights, develop a compelling vision of what the ideal user experience could be, and establish a point of view of how we deliver against that vision. And as a platform designer, you'll be responsible for not only designing the best experiences for users, but also defining a scalable design system of patterns and components that scale across multiple products.You should have an inspiring portfolio, great design sense, a love for complex problems and the ability to clearly articulate how a product should work both in software and in the physical world.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize, brainstorm, and define key features for one or more payment products
• Conduct audits and quickly identify needed patterns and components for the larger design system
• Translate abstract ideas and requirements into tangible and beautiful design deliverables
• Balance the ability to define a future state vision as well as delivering iterative product releases (think Minimum Delightful Experiences)
• Author, iterate, and maintain documentation including storyboards, flows, information architecture, journey maps, wireframes and low-fidelity mockups, prototypes, as well as final pixel-perfect visual designs
• Design new patterns and components built on brand language to reflect the needs of payments experiences
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, product managers, and researchers

UX Deliverables:

• UX Frameworks
• Journey Maps
• User Flow Diagrams
• Conceptual designs, mocks, and wireframes
• Pixel-perfect visual designs and specs

Mandatory:

• BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating command of interaction and visual design skills

Desired:

• Experience creating design solution in the payments space, either consumer facing or enterprise. Experience creating, contributing to, or maintaining a design system
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
• Experience designing with Google's Material Design language and visual style
• Evidence of a systematic approach to design
• Experience with payment platforms and concepts
• Ability to distill complex requirements into simple and easy user interactions
• Experience designing for accessibility guidelines and requirements
• Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
• High organization and efficiency working with multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills
• Proficiency in Figma
