Technical Project Coordinator Overview:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator for an opportunity in Minnetonka, MN.
This position coordinates and assists Project Managers with activities in designated projects to ensure that the goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budget parameters. This individual must be able to effectively communicate to both customers and vendors and must be able to properly manage multiple projects and vendors at any given time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews project proposal or plan to determine time frame, budget limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, subcontractor requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
  • Assists with the coordination of site surveys to determine customer needs.
  • Assists the Project Managers with establishing and implementing work plans for each phase of the project.
  • Arranges for recruitment or assignment of subcontractor labor and ensures that project schedule progresses in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Creates, updates and publishes all project management documentation including project status reports, issues and risk logs, project plans, and timelines to insure project stakeholders are updated on project details.
  • Reviews and validates status reports and deliverables obtained from subcontractors to ensure that all information is accurate and obtained in a timely fashion.
  • Assists with ensuring that all required materials are properly ordered and shipped to corresponding job sites and within established company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures the proper and complete entry of jobs into the order entry job cost system and that all information is obtained in order to properly invoice the end-user customer.
  • Assists in working with various functional groups to ensure that other departments have the information required to properly invoice, collect and report on the profitability of a project.
  • Assists in materials acquisition (within budget parameters) and physical inventory and cycle counts.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and or/training
  • One to two years experience working on technical projects, preferably infrastructure focused such as data center build outs, infrastructure refresh or technology roll outs involving cabling, storage, servers or networking hardware.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite
  • Customer service focused with excellent communication and organization skills
