Job Description

Senior Business Project Manager:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a senior level Business Project Manager. In this role the candidate will be responsibility for tracking and managing three business initiatives. IT Project Managers are welcome, but this is not an IT project specifically though the solutions will involve technology. Our client is not tied to a specific set of PM tools. They want the PM to utilize tools that they can use to their greatest benefit.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with senior leaders and communicate with potential client senior leadership
  • Ability to lead (and push) project pace. This is not a position for a project manager who views project management as reporting and tracking only
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously: There will be 3 projects under this PM's responsibility set. Being able to shift focus between them multiple times per week is paramount to success
  • Ability to develop project updates that emphasize project misses and critical events is a must.
  • Prior experience as a project manager in consulting engagements is a plus.
