Scrum Master Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Scrum Master. Each Scrum Master will be over a team of 6-8 people. Our client is replacing Peoplesoft--more than that--transformation. They are changing their systems and globalizing their process. They are changing the process to fit the application. The team will be focusing on Data Integration, reporting, and conversions. Our client has a target Go Live date of January 1, 2022. The ideal candidate will be able to react quickly in a dynamic environment and must execute flawlessly for all of our clients team members.


  • Guide teams and organization on Agile practices
  • Facilitating the scrum process on scrum teams with cross-functional impacts that involve moderately complex projects
  • Manage cycle of assessing and improving scrum team practices and maturity
  • Facilitates and is accountable for daily standups, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
  • Use experience in planning and estimating to determine sprint scope based on team's velocity and capabilities while partnering with the product owner on prioritization
  • Partners with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include stories from multiple projects
  • Lead teams and facilitate removal of impediments
  • Build effective relationships and managing these relationships and expectations across internal technology business groups, business partners, and 3rd Party Application vendor partners both in the US and globally
  • Manage the SDLC associated with specific applications and workstreams

  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
  • Experience with one or more Agile tools used for tracking user stories or backlogs, such as VersionOne and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Experience with Agile Scrum (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning and Sprint Retrospective meetings) and Kanban
  • Experience working with subject matter experts within multiple human resources disciplines such as talent development, talent management, compensation, talent acquisition, performance management, diversity, or employee relations
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile
