Release Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Release Manager. In this role the candidate will be responsible for administering end-to-end release processes, including planning, managing, scheduling, coordinating, deploying and monitoring changes to the bank's computing systems.


  • Provide release management support for application, operational, infrastructure and configuration deployments
  • Create and manage change tickets, run books, roll out plans and perform collision/impact analysis for releases
  • Assess and translate MOP and instructional documents to identify, communicate and mitigate risk
  • Uphold IT compliance with change management processes and policies
  • Coordinate, plan and communicate with varying audiences
  • Manage multiple planned releases and unplanned hot fixes each week
  • Support releases on weeknights and/or weekends for both planned and unplanned activities, as needed


  • 2-4 years of Release Management experience, preferably in an enterprise FinTech development environment
  • 1-2 years of applied skills with ServiceNow, TFS, Jira, and GitHub
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure
  • A strong knowledge of change, risk and problem management processes
  • Ability to multi-task and keep multiple threads in progress simultaneously
  • Outstanding communication skills to accurately deliver information to technical and non-technical staff, as well as C-level leaders
  • Flexibility to quickly change priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A knack for remaining calm under pressure, maintaining a disciplined approach to communication and decision-making even in urgent situations
  • Hands-on CI/CD and automation understanding helpful
  • Cloud-related certifications in one or more of the following, desired: AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft 365 Security Administrator Associate, AWS Developer - Associate or DevOps Engineer - Professional
  • Must be able to review and analyze data reports and manuals
  • Must be computer proficient
  • Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone and in person
