Project Coordinator Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Project Coordinator to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The major focus of this position is to support the management of technology projects of various sizes and complexity including SDLC and/or Agile, Infrastructure, Vendors or Security projects. This role also includes managing small projects that will provide the necessary experience and exposure to facilitate possible move into a Project Management position. The Project Coordinator is a member of the IT Project Management Office. The incumbent will also have daily interactions with stakeholders from the various technical and business areas, corporate departments, and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to established project management processes and methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) for the Technology community
  • Supports decisions made by the Project Manager and takes timely independent actions in pursuit of project priorities
  • Manages small projects and possibly larger ones depending on experience and abilities, including resource and financial project planning
  • Responsible for supporting the Project Manager with the development of project schedules and other related documentation
  • Understands the product and organizational impact by partner with Stakeholders, Business Analysts and Product Owners
  • Supports the identification of operational changes required to meet project deliverables
  • Supports development of project Change Requests impacting scope, time and budget
  • Works with Vendor to support daily activities and project implementations
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • College graduate degree with 3 + years of work experience as Project Coordinator or similar position
  • Results-oriented team player
  • Experienced in collaborating with teams at various levels.
  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Visio, MS Office, SharePoint desirable
  • Maintains positive attitude in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Must meet company’s requirements for employment
  • Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
