Product Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Product Manager. In this role the candidate will serve as major catalyst for accomplishing year-over-year revenue and gross profit objectives for our client. This position is responsible for assisting in the development and maintenance of needed tools to price and sell this product in the marketplace; works in conjunction with Associate Product/Solution Managers and client project managers on large volume product development projects that will use an existing product offering and customize it for specific clients sold program. This role is a direct report to the Associate Product Manager. There are no budgetary responsibility in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • 40% - Gather and consolidate information from clients, market intelligence, VOC, the field sales organization, Business Development, and Operations and other areas. Establish the business requirements and operational procedures for the development of new products, services, and applications. Define &/or Develop all aspects of new products. Create full Marketing Plan in collaboration with Solution Leader and Brand Communication Resources where applicable. Provide content for core presentations, promotional materials, and proposals. Source, analyze, recommend, launch and maintain vendor partnerships.
  • 30% - Develops Qualification criteria by solution or product for prospective clients. Work with the Market Teams to develop penetration and sales strategies for target verticals and clients. Assist Solution Lead (where applicable) and Brand Communications in training various sales & sales support channels in the product, its philosophies, where it should be sold, presentations, promotions, etc. Develop operational support processes and train resources to support product implementation and operation. Assist Brand Communications in developing promotional campaigns. Consult with pricing specialists and financial controller. Negotiate key business strategies, ensuring support from other functions and reconciling differences (with Solution Lead as applicable). Work with Third Party in developing partnerships with outside sources.
  • 30% - Proactively research and identify trends in the rewards and fulfillment industries and tertiary industries. Conducts research and studies lifestyle trends, workforce demographics, psychographics, and the Your Rewards Collection. Assist Business Development and field sales. Analyze program results to assess quantitative results. Interviews and makes staffing decisions. Provides timely performance based recognition, in order to reinforce positive behavior as it occurs. Responsible for all administrative activities related to (a) requisitions, timecard approvals, vacation tracking, etc. Assist Solution Lead (where applicable) in Developing and continually updating product strategy and marketing plan (4 Ps). Oversee solution/product financials and recommend strategies/changes based on analysis. Serve as SME on feature & functionality capabilities of our products and or solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field, MBA preferred
  • 2-5 years related business experience in incentive industry, product management, business development, or marketing
  • Strong Financial acumen, understanding and ability to develop pricing strategy, determining profitability, and establishing product & marketing plans
  • Proven experience in new business development process
  • Experience managing vendor and partner relationships including contracting, launch and issue resolution requirements
  • Demonstrated analytical experience
  • Ability to work with technology and represent the business needs ensuring they are translated & represented in the product build
  • Strong platform skills in both one-on-one and group settings.
