Signature Consultants is looking for a Product Manager to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

As a Product Manager you will be Subject Matter Expert on the functionality and roadmap of vendor products. You will lead the adoption of such products and will ensure that they are being fully maximized. You are responsible for the creation and management of a product backlog and will help with prioritization. You will provide and document as necessary clear requirements for the technology teams and other stakeholders, create request for proposals, product plans and product functionality roadmaps. You will lead the implementation of SaaS applications including CRM (examples, but not limited to: Service Cloud & Social Studio) and reservation/service related products and their configuration. You will understand the business and document processes as needed to aid in the identification of technical solutions. You will be an active participant in the selection of vendor products.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Hold meetings for prioritization of product backlog and communicate status to business stakeholders
  • Manage business projects
  • Fully understand and manage product business configuration and its interdependencies
  • Create and execute plans to activate functionality on SaaS products
  • Communicate product release functionality to business stakeholders and facilitate its adoption, ensuring maximization of product usage
  • Create business requirements and scope documents. Documents and provides guidance on dependencies
  • Documents process flows and advocates for change and innovation when needed
  • Create UAT acceptance plans
  • Be hands on with products utilized in the business unit
  • Manage, communicate and build relationships with vendors
  • Create needed documentation to facilitate communication across all teams.
  • Create detailed product roadmap, aligning with business objectives
  • Incorporate stakeholders request and feedback into vendor products roadmaps
  • Identify measurements and measure the success of projects
  • Advocate for customer centricity and focus
  • Coordinate product demonstrations and participate in such
  • Act as a product expert and evangelist across all teams
  • Participate in pertinent meetings as needed
  • Partner with the IT team on the budgeting, planning, selection and implementation of related software, vendor products and application development services
  • Take ownership of weekly meetings for open tickets, including analyzing trends to find opportunities for improvement
  • Own business level configuration for systems, working closely with teams to outline timelines and advantages/concerns with configuration
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning project
  • Develop and communicate continual improvement strategies for the department; drive improvements aggressively within the team
  • Lead and participate in the RFP process

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years related experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a diverse range of people, which includes the upper levels of corporate management
  • Self- sufficient, requiring limited supervision over job knowledge, expectations and successful project completion
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft suite of office products and Visio
  • In-depth knowledge of Revenue Management, Internet Booking Engines, Central Reservation Systems, Medallia, ticketing or case management (SalesForce Service Cloud) & Sales Force Social Studio
  • Strong SQL and data Analysis skills
  • Strong knowledge of CRM (Salesforce.com, Dynamics), Survey (Medallia) and hospitality quality products (Rizepoint), Property Management systems, player tracking systems, along with proficiency with all MS Office packages.
