POS Helpdesk Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Point of Sales (POS) Support/Configuration Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC.

Position Overview:

Signature Consultants is looking for an experienced Simphony Configuration Specialist for a Digital Care Team. This role is responsible for managing point of sale configuration projects using the client's front of house technology. This critical and highly visible position is responsible for ensuring success by gathering requirements, configuring the database and screens, verifying quality and supporting the onsite team during installation and Go Live.

Working Relationships:

  • Communicate to understand with unit operations and client personnel
  • Work closely with Technology Delivery (Project) Managers, Digital Strategy, and other teams
  • Interface with external vendors for applicable systems
  • Reports to the Digital Care Retail Lead

Primary Job Duties:

  • Manage, track and complete hosted POS Configuration Projects
  • Participate in Deployment Meetings to gather requirements
  • Track and manage deadlines and deliverable to ensure required information is received in time and work is completed on time for Pre-Go Live Verification
  • Regularly communicate status to project stakeholders
  • Work with Unit Managers, District Managers and financial teams to ensure best practices are followed
  • Uphold standards and ensure vendors do as well
  • Produce high quality, accurate product with minimal issues
  • Edit and verify data imports and exports meet file specifications
  • Work with POS vendors on deployment testing of integrated systems
  • Assist Technology Delivery Managers in delivering a quality Point of Sale Implementation
  • Assist the Team Lead in establishing standard procedures for POS Implementation
  • Assist the Team Lead on projects related to the development, improvement and bringing to market of front of house technology solutions


  • Point of Sale (POS) system administration experience, specifically Oracle Micros Simphony
  • Proven project management experience
  • Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute multiple concurrent tasks
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Basic knowledge of computer network infrastructure design and communications
