Portfolio Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Portfolio Manager for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The candidate will support end to end technology for programs and projects. The Portfolio Manager role has direct and matrix-ed execution responsibility across multiple technology organizations as well as LOB Portfolio/Program Manager on the business side for delivering the program/projects.


  • Performs project management responsibilities relating to information technology implementations, upgrades, conversion and recovery.
  • Manages multiple projects or a single major project.
  • Partners with Program and Project Managers and SMEs to create business requirements for technology solutions.
  • Assists with technology estimates, manages low to moderate complexity technology solutions for projects to a full-scale deployment in a live environment.
  • Manages timelines and communicates project status and has matrix management responsibility.
  • Build positive give and take relationships with stakeholders.
  • Use the right questions and tools to uncover root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to understand and maintain documentation via the clients tools and processes.
  • Typically requires 5-7 years of applicable experience.

Job Requirements

Experience with agile tool such as Jira • Ability to support both Waterfall and Agile projects • Experience with data management and data quality in a complex organization • Demonstrated consultative capability in addressing complex business and compliance issues • Experience as a data analyst proficient with developing and maintaining local databases in MS Access, SharePoint, SQL Server and Excel and reporting data effectively • Strong Excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables, form controls, and VB Macros • Familiarity with SharePoint advanced features including security, lists, forms, workflows, and reporting • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire software skills • You will be supporting anything and everything related to project execution and delivery in our space – flexibility will be expected
