IT Specialist Summary:

Signature has an opportunity for an IT Specialist. In this role the candidate will coordinate the full IT asset lifecycle of client technologies, this includes planning, monitoring, and recording software and/ hardware licenses to ensure compliance. This position develops and implements procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control. The candidate must have the ability to support Microsoft and Apple products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to facilitate full lifecycle management of company owned client IT assets. Utilize ITAM best practices to ensure proper asset utilization, compliance, and sound financial accounting.
  • Develop and schedule device refresh activities. Ensure that personnel receive new devices in a timely fashion. Use creative strategies to anticipate and overcome logistical challenges while minimizing costs incurred.
  • Engage in continuous improvement to take advantage of automation, self-service, and smart technologies to continually mature procurement, delivery, and device reclamation operations.
  • Assist team members in the support of hardware, operating systems, and applications, as well as the administration of client management and security technologies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree-Field of Study in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' experience.
  • ITIL and/or ITSM certification preferred.
  • Detailed examination of historical data, trends, and analytics required. Must exhibit the ability to lead a task, project, or team as priorities dictate.
  • Ability to support Microsoft and Apple products-utilizing a Microsoft/Cisco based infrastructure.
  • Ability to support the following operating systems and applications that run on them. Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, iOS. Ability to understand other frameworks and disciplines such as basic networking, wireless, cloud-based platforms, Office 365, and ERP systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, inventory management systems, and client management applications.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and exhibit the ability to work under pressure.
  • Must have a proven track record of excellent customer service.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with vendors, suppliers, and contractors who provide a broad spectrum of products and services.
  • General knowledge of accounting, operations, and logistics.
