IT Project Manager Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking an IT PM for an opportunity with a client in Charlotte, NC.


  • Manage medium to large projects through its Lifecycle including but not limited to Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, Rollout
  • Role has direct and matrixed execution responsibility across all technology organizations as well as LOB
  • Ability to work with multiple business partners from around the company, ensuring gaps and dependencies are identified, documented, communicated and coordinated between multiple work efforts
  • Responsible for project technology estimates, plans, organizes, monitors and controls technology requirements and delivery for projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
  • Establish standard project management responsibilities including project initiation, requirements acceptance and estimation, work-breakdown structure development, milestone management, artifact management, issue / risk / tracking, status reporting, change management and financial governance
  • Effectively communicate with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed.
  • Interface with the PMO and participate in Program / Portfolio-level activities
  • Facilitate routine and ad-hoc meetings as necessary to achieve project objectives
  • Arbitrate resolution of issues and risks
  • Potential to lead product deployment planning and support go-live event

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate crisply and candidly, both orally and in writing
  • At least 5-7 years PM experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to drive collaboration and manage conflict
