Programmer Analyst/UX Researcher Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Programmer Analyst/UX Researcher to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Juno Beach, Florida area. Our client is seeking a UX Researcher to assist the Enterprise User Experience team. The UX Researcher will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the creation of engaging, positive, user experiences for internal enterprise applications. The UX Researcher is responsible for spearheading the planning and conducting of research at every stage of the product's lifecycle; from its conceptualization, prototype validations, all the way to usability tests on the final product. Activities include conducting user interviews, conducting stakeholder interviews, creating surveys, creating low-to-mid-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, leading usability testing using testing software, and synthesizing findings into actionable insights, among other duties. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills and an innate curiosity to push the status quo. They will have experience creating synthesis decks and UX artifacts to help drive product feature prioritization. Experience in visual design is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct usability testing both in person and using the usability testing platform
  • Help develop and implement quantitative surveys
  • Conduct stakeholder and client interviews that aim to establish mental models and success metrics
  • Craft personas and other artifacts (e.g. journey maps) to communicate insights across the design and development teams
  • Present design research findings to the larger team in a clear and organized fashion
  • Work closely with the product team to identify research and testing objectives
  • Extract insights about user behaviors and synthesize the insights into actionable recommendations for the product team
  • Write usability research screeners and discussion guides
  • Recruit targeted end-users for specific research activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in statistical, qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • 2+ years in product usability moderating, experimental design and test method selection
  • Understanding of design of user-centric experiences for mobile, tablet, and desktop solutions
  • Experience working directly with users and stakeholders to uncover and prioritize product features and functionality
  • Experience leading and moderating usability studies
  • Experience with Sketch and InVision
  • Experience with Jira
  • A portfolio demonstrating relevant user experience capabilities with work samples
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task in an agile environment
  • Technology - Invision, sketch, and experience working in an Enterprise Design System (EDS). A plus would be experience with USER ZOOM.
