Identity and Access Management Consultant Summary:

Location: AZ, MN, CLT, IA

Signature Consultants is seeking an IAM Consultant with professional leadership qualities; strong communications skills, both written and verbal; project documentation creation; timely and accurate implementation of project deliverables; and data analysis, testing and validation expertise. For this role the resource must have strong excel skills (vlook-ups / Pivot tables).


  • The Implementation Lead works with and is supported by Information Security subject matter experts, application developers and subject matter experts, business, risk, and other stakeholders and has the primary responsibility to meet project timelines and objectives
  • Team will use a standardized approach and documentation for regulatory purposes, however the Implementation candidate will need to be flexible and customize each Business Rule implementation plan to the specific needs of that application.
  • Dependencies on other applications, regulatory or other special requirements, scheduling constraints, etc.
  • Utilizing a combination of project management, risk management, technology relationship management, or business analyst backgrounds to meet Business Rule deliverables

Required Skillsets:

  • Access Management Fundamentals
  • Strong Excel (must be able to do Vlook-ups/Pivot tables)
  • Technology Aptitude
  • Big picture view of application management, managing access privileges and credentials within an environment
  • Relationship management skills are key as this role will be working with various technology managers, and application owners to integrate their Segregation of Duty Business Rules into the updated Access Management tool
  • Will require candidate willing to wear multiple hats with excellent communication skills to facilitate meetings and influencing others
  • Comfortable working in virtual environment
  • Ability to work as part of a team, know when to lead and when to take directions
  • Understanding of operational risk management and technology risk management principles
  • Demonstrated business knowledge and organizational awareness

Preferred, not required:

  • Prior experience with Segregation of Duties Business Rules
  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management concepts is helpful as is more advanced knowledge with IAM and/or large enterprise IT environments
