Job Description

Financial Data Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Financial Data Analyst for an opportunity with a client in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the Data Management owner of Deposits
  • Identifies and manages data gaps issues related to deposits records.
  • Liaise with Balance Sheet Management, Global Liquidity Management , and Tech team and other Data Management analysts to understand and solve existing data sourcing gaps.
  • Responsible for instituting and maintaining validation and reconciliation controls.
  • Responsible for testing and approving migrations and other system enhancements.
  • Lead resource for target system planning and testing.
  • Liaison responsibility with source system providers of deposits.
  • Will include senior level management communication across multiple technology and operations teams.

Qualifications:

  • Must have basic understanding of SQL
  • Beginner/Medium experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio)
  • Good communication skills. Email and verbal

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years bank experience, or other control environment, experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be creative, and be able to balance multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Expert in SQL to extract data from multiple applications/databases (Netezza, Teradata, Toad)
  • Detail and deadline oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, project management & organization skills
  • Functional knowledge and experience in writing SQL code against multiple database platforms
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Ability to work independently

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge and prior experience with deposits products and regulatory reporting.
  • Knowledge and prior experience with system to system reconciliations.
