Dynamics CRM Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is looking for a Dynamics CRM Analyst to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Hollywood, FL. The Dynamics CRM Analyst will act as a technical liaison between the various user departments. This position will be hands on working with day-to-day business and technical support of Dynamics GP/CRM and related 3rd party systems and integrations. The support of SQL scripting, GP Report Writer, and SSRS report development skills are required. Expertise performing GP upgrades and experience with eConnect, eOne Smartconnect, Scribe, BI360, and Smartlist Builder are strongly preferred.


  • Incorporate business process changes
  • Provide leadership and support and optimize utilization for MS Dynamics GP and CRM
  • Provide leadership and training for the MS Dynamics GP and CRM system
  • Perform day-to-day administration tasks
  • Coordinate MS Dynamics GP and CRM software upgrades and updates
  • Assist with efforts to integrate data and work processes
  • Gather requirements and gain first-hand understanding of user needs
  • Interpret business process changes and develop specifications for software and configuration modifications
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Dynamics GP modules (AP, AR, GL, and Payroll) and CRM
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and facilitates technical support with third party vendor
  • Assist in new feature development for: integrations, website functionality, GP Dynamics, GP CRM, and others
  • Responsible for maintaining all internally controlled applications to ensure related databases are available with minimal user outages of production systems
  • Reduce bottlenecks for performance within all applications
  • Utilize scripting and other automations to reduce the manual processes related to databases
  • Maintain the overall integrity and quality of the databases, including regular data improvement business processes and management of code values increase efficiency and enhance performance
  • Provide support and training in use of the application, including orientation for all new staff and specialized training in response to changing roles, business processes and database functionality
  • Work with help desk to provide technical assistance to users and troubleshoot and resolve application and database related problems
  • Monitor database activity and growth and ensure proper capacity planning is implemented
  • Research and implement new technologies to improve database functionality
  • Assist in the definition of test conditions and development of accurate and complete test plans
  • Utilize wealth of experience, research online knowledge base articles, converse with users and run SQL Server queries to resolve system issues
  • Create reports for various departments using SQL Server Report Services as well as provide ad-hoc data as needed
  • Communicate with existing software vendor in order to understand current product functionality and areas for improvement
  • Analyze current business processes to make them more efficient by leveraging Dynamics GP and possible ISV solutions
  • Analyze application usage and make recommendations to improve performance and usability. Attends and participates in staff meetings and other activities and events as requested
  • Take meeting minutes and action items during meetings and performs basic follow-up
  • Perform additional related duties, as required


  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office product suites
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Demonstrate basic analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, as well as multi-task and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to work independently with moderate supervision

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field is required
  • A minimum of 3+ years of Dynamics GP and CRM support experience and 3+ years of experience with SQL Server databases
  • Must have experience with GP core modules, particularly related to AP, AR, and GL, and Payroll preferred
  • Must have experience working in an administrative role in a mid-large corporate environment is required
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required
  • Demonstrate excellent English written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with and using SQL Queries
  • Experience working in the Public Sectors such as local government
  • Experience with eConnect, Integration Manager and their application within the Dynamics GP environment
  • Possess a deep knowledge of the Dynamics database schema including GP table names and structure
  • Familiarity with the following technologies: Windows server operating systems - 2008r2 and 2012r2, IIS Manager, SQL Management Studio, MSSQL terminologies (basic understanding of databases), Virtualization of both VMware and Hyper-V (basic understanding of virtualization)
