Domain Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Domain Analyst. In this role the candidate will provide support to Business Partners in adopting new Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) policy requirements and alignment to the enterprise data strategy across a specific data domain. In conjunction with their domain manager, will partner with business executives, technology leaders, and application business and data owners to assess data control and quality gaps, define and execute compliance plans, maintain and monitor compliance ongoing. Responsible for understanding data governance policies and evangelizing the benefits and strategic message to stakeholders, records management, process implementation and maintenance, and providing subject matter expertise within a data domain.

Organizes, leads, and facilitates cross-entity, enterprise wide Data Governance Initiatives that may encompass an end to end analysis and future state redesign of both business and technology data controls. Tracks and communicates business priorities and delivery of EDG compliance requirements to management and stakeholders. Identifies and manages data dependencies, including cross-entity teams and systems, to successfully enable the business and technology to implement EDG compliance requirements. Informally mentor and provide professional direction and support to junior analysts.


  • Support on-going data governance routines to monitor execution activities and data domain performance
  • Assess current capabilities of applications within the domain against target Enterprise Data Governance Policy compliance requirements
  • Contribute to the development of a plan and roadmap to implement required capabilities
  • Drive improved data quality and control capabilities across the applications within the domain
  • Support and organize key compliance activities against priorities
  • Communicating policy, process, and concepts with exceptional written and verbal communication skills


  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: compliance, organization change management, or project management
  • 4+ years of data governance, data management, operational risk analysis, or combination of the three

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Working knowledge of at least one of these key financial data subject areas: Information Technology, Financial Management, Regulatory Reporting
  • Recent experience with audit, compliance, and regulatory management or operational risk
  • Current experience in data governance/data management concepts and practices
  • Recent experience in data quality and control improvement
  • Current in strategic planning or project/program delivery
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
