Data Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte NC. The candidate will be involved with daily/monthly controls and governance routines supporting the completeness and accuracy of data consumed by downstream stakeholders. Candidate will contribute to multiple internal work streams in support of initiatives including but not limited to Liquidity reporting (Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR), FR2052a (Fed 5G), Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) as well as Capital and Balance Sheet Management. Candidate will be responsible for consistent, timely, and accurate delivery of controls results providing product and technical expertise. Candidate must manage relationships with business partners (Data Stewards, Business stakeholders, Technology, Governance) to ensure compliance with data quality and data fit for use requirements. Responsible for assisting in the design, development, testing and implementation of Data Quality, Data Validation, and reconciliation controls.

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-8 years of experience analyzing and reporting financial data
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Previous Financial Institution experience with exposure to Data Controls/Reconciliations
  • Functional knowledge and experience with Banking/Traded Products
  • Functional knowledge and experience with Balance Sheet/General Ledger systems
  • Strong relationship building and organizational skill with ability to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex problems
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities while maintaining a degree of creativity

Desired Skills:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • SQL & Microsoft Visual Basic experience a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working across multiple applications
  • Ability to work independently and take lead on addressing issues
  • Ability to understand, document, and explain complex data flows
