Data Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Data Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The Data Analyst will act as a liaison between business and technical organizations by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of a highly complex migration event within the Wholesale organization. Successful candidates will need a balance of strong business/finance skills along with a solid understanding of databases and systems and the ability to communicate effectively across groups


  • Support small to medium size research and data manipulation projects to ensure the successful migration of BBG users to the ProfitView platform
  • Work with data providers, end users, or stakeholders to understand project requirements then use available tools to create solutions and/or work with Technology partners to complete
  • Support the Wholesale Profitability platform by researching, analyzing, and responding to user tickets in a timely fashion for the newly migrated line of business. This process includes understanding the business issue to be solved, utilizing front end systems as well as databases to conduct research, and communicating findings to end users
  • Understand the needs and help manage expectations of profitability and cross-sell platform business needs
  • Serve as SME to validate the profitability and cross-sell data requirements and design will meet the overall business needs
  • Work with end-user groups and System of Record SME’s (business, operational and technology) and facilitate working sessions to understand the product portfolio, contract structures, business process and transactional analysis, GL accounting process and data feeds
  • Function in a highly interdependent atmosphere and collaborate with people in different locations while working independently and proactively

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both
  • SQL--basic

Desired Qualifications:

  • Detail oriented problem solver
  • Wholesale Banking exposure and applications used
  • Finance or Accounting background
  • High level of proficiency with MS Office applications (specifically MS Excel)
  • Familiarity with WCIS, ORBT, and CPL data hierarchies
  • Project/Process management experience: SDLC
  • Profitability methodology experience
  • OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) or other BI tools
