Cybersecurity Solutions Architect Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Cybersecurity Solutions Architect for a remote opportunity. The Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is a role where creative thinking, ability to perform client facing security review & modeling, presentation skills and broad technical expertise are required. The role of the Cybersecurity Solutions Architect is to keep abreast of current state and trends in the changing Cybersecurity landscape and use this knowledge to credibly qualify, position and architect security solutions for customers. He or she will be focused on developing and growing our client's Cyber and Network Security Professional Services across 6 Threat Vectors in the Security Space (Perimeter, Network, Endpoint, Application, Data and Cloud). This role is remote with travel, our client has offices in GA, TX, and CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical thought leadership for multi-discipline IT infrastructure solutions in a customer environment with a heavy focus on cyber security.
  • Develop an advanced to expert understanding of the various architectures and service offerings and how they're interconnected.
  • Evangelize to customers the benefits of our cyber security solutions for improved business resilience and threat protection
  • Contribute to the development of new business through existing and new clients and industry contacts
  • Lead the development process of business cases for architectural designs and solutions focused on business solutions
  • Ensure the features, benefits, and architectural impact of a technology solution are understood and valued by the customer
  • Work with the solutions team to develop security services engagements which may require contributing subject matter expertise management and collaboration with resources across the company
  • Create Business Relevance
  • Contribute to the development and the growth of our Cyber & Network Security Professional Services through a participation in events in this field, in the development of business and in the development of our capabilities and solutions
  • Provide key insights and vision into major industry drivers and our sellable solutions and offerings within cyber & network security services
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within our cyber & network security practice, providing thought leadership, insights, and helping to develop our cyber & network security capabilities
  • Contribute to analysis of the value and the risks of new systems and technology, and provide sound, cost-effective recommendations to augment our security services portfolio
  • Monitor changes or advancements in cyber security services and security technologies to explore new ways we can achieve competitive advantage and drive growth
  • Implement security operations best practices and tooling (Processes, KPIs and overall Ops maturity)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent industry experience
  • Great personal and professional integrity, and adherence to very high ethical standards
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Display a high-level of competency to include, capability doing demonstrations, workshops & training
  • Must have experience in implementing cyber security solutions in mid and large enterprises or government agencies and working with leading cyber security technology partners
  • Expertise with infrastructure and data center networking security solutions, products and Services (SecOps). Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience with standards and processes that includes 6+ years of technical enterprise pre-sales experience with a focus on cybersecurity solution architectures
  • Experience working in collaborative environments and high performance teams
  • Ability to interact with senior management as well as technical staff
  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity market
  • Hold a cybersecurity certification such as CCSP, CRISC, CISA, CISSP, HiTrust, NIST, FISMA, Fedramp, SOC2, ISO 27001, PCI, etc.
  • Knowledge related to information security regulations and compliance issues
  • Knowledge of ISO 27001/2, NIST 800: 53, PCI-DSS and similar standards is an asset
  • Knowledge of general methods and concepts of security: vulnerability assessment; assessment of the protection of confidentiality; intrusion detection; response to incidents; development of security policies; strategies, architecture and governance of the company
  • Ability to author deliverables of a technical nature and present them to clients
  • Understanding of threats and vulnerabilities, as well as information security standards and regulations
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other actors in the field of security, with other organizations using different technologies and with other sectors of activity
