Business Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Analyst for an opportunity in San Francisco, CA. The Business Analyst will act as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Successful candidates should have 7+ years of experience in business systems analysis and/or design.


  • Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements
  • Work with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes
  • Prepare specifications for system changes
  • Recommend and initiates systems testing
  • Act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies
  • Provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience as a business/technical liaison
  • Working experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to create User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Enthusiastic and energetic personality
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and results to diverse business and technical audiences
  • Must be detailed oriented and highly analytical with desire to deliver near perfection in everything
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders including mid-level managers
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Identifiable organizational and task prioritization skills (detail oriented)
  • Identifiable communication and presentation skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to take ownership of the task assigned
  • Agile Experience
  • Identifiable knowledge, experience and understanding of SDLC requirements process and methodologies
