Project Manager/Business Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a PM/BA for an opportunity with a client in Minneapolis, MN. Projects will include performing traditional project PM/BA work such as gathering requirements from client, Vendor, and business stakeholders and delivering the associated work products such as project plan, creating the BRD (including system mock-ups), documenting UAT user stories, and executing UAT. Assigned duties will also include the creation of workflows, process flows, policies / job aides, external training materials, meeting facilitation/note taking as well as assistance with the development and delivery of project and audit reporting to support the project. In addition, project close activities will need to be completed, such as documentation of Lessons Learned throughout the project, and completion of a lessons learned review session with the client.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills (creating and managing the work plan, identifying and managing issues/risks, generating detailed status reports, strong communication and meeting facilitation skills, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams, etc.) and strong people & sponsor management skills as their primary skill set. They will also have basic healthcare experience, budget management experience, and experience working with technical development teams in a matrix organization.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Creation and management of project management plans (identification of milestones, deliverables, tasks); excel based project plans a must; Microsoft Project experience optional
  • Identification, mitigation, and management of issues & risks through IRAAD
  • Identification and documentation of stakeholders, roles & responsibilities, and decision makers through RASCI documentation
  • Drive multiple work streams across several different business functionality teams
  • Measure transformation through detailed project updates and program status reports
  • Identification of change management components to ensure operational/business adoption success and integration into project plans
  • Collaboration with Operations, Product, Technical, Business Analyst, and other delivery or stakeholder teams.
  • Meeting facilitation, clear and concise communication in a variety of formats (verbal, status slide, emails, etc.)

Software requirements:

  • Advanced: Excel (project plan, IRAAD, RASCI), PowerPoint (status slides, kickoff decks, roadmaps), Word (Charters)
  • Moderate: Visio (process flows), Excel (change management plans)
  • Basic/Standard: Outlook, Teams, Jabber, SharePoint
