Application Support Specialist Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for an Application Support Specialist to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Boca Raton area. The Software Support Specialist will work in a multi-functional role which supports Information Technology (IT) systems and programs, and studio business operations. To thrive in this role, the candidate will need to be very organized, high aptitude in problem solving, and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Log and track inquiries using a problem management database and maintains detailed history of all issues and resolutions.
  • Ability to read and write T-SQL - writing and reading SQL queries to select data and join tables together/understanding how it is gathering data from relational database models
  • Strong analytical abilities - understand how to trace data points on a report back through to the source or in third party systems through web interfaces
  • Aptitude in comparing data between two systems using tools such as Excel
  • Ability to learn a third party reporting tool, how to navigate it, explain its functionality to end-users, and administer certain areas such as user and security management
  • Strong knowledge of .NET Framework & object-oriented programming
  • Manage and respond to software support tickets
  • Support and reinforce daily execution of systems and processes
  • Log and track inquiries using a problem management database and maintains detailed history of all issues and resolutions
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written, to a wide range of end-users
  • Follows up with customers to ensure that their inquiries are resolved
  • Coordinate the resolution of advanced issues with appropriate teams
  • Contribute to our Knowledge base (author and edit knowledge base articles)
  • Assist with OTF-related databases and other OTF systems as required
  • Assist with support for all current and future OTF technologies (training will be provided)
  • Assist in working with all functional teams to set up, maintain and support databases
  • Serve as the subject matter expert in supporting the client's Business Policies, and reinforce best practices and technical protocol for technology program use in studios
  • Other related duties as appropriate and required

Required Education/Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in software support or call center environments
  • 1-2 years' experience with C# .NET programming (ADO.NET, ASP.NET)
  • 1-2 years' experience with REST, SOAP, and related Web Service oriented architectures
  • 1-2 years' experience supporting windows desktop applications
  • 1-2 years of demonstrated experience with SQL
  • 1-2 years' of Applications Development experience
  • Technical degree or code school certificate in a relevant discipline
  • 1-2 years' experience with developing web APIs - Desired
