Agile Business Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Analyst with Agile, SharePoint, UAT experience - Lead UAT and any design or rebranding knowledge a plus (UI/UX). The business analyst role will perform business analysis, document requirements, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), update operational support materials, complete implementation activities and conduct production validation


The contract would likely begin in September of 2019 and run through the end of this year with possibility of extension through September of 2020 pending additional funding. This would be a full time role and the individual needs to be fully available during business hours.

Description of needs:

  • Responsible for requirements documentation, including partnership with UX Designer to align design requirements and assets (mockups, design specifications, images, iconography)
  • Must have previous experience working in an Agile environment and writing user stories (being able to work fast-paced and partner with project members to quickly iterate requirements documentation as needed.
  • Discovery and task analysis work as needed: Example, defining next steps and putting structure in place for iterative reviews with project resources
  • Update operational support materials including, but not limited to Publisher Training Guides, Online materials, "How to" Guides and Knowledge Bases.
  • Manage and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation. Including:
    • Document test and production validation scripts iteratively
    • Prep UAT environment (dummy content, access/role setup)
    • Provide information to the Project Manager for status reporting and Go/No Go meetings
  • Review and manage defects through resolution - including working with submitters on retesting and providing status and reporting information to Project Manager or project team members as needed.
  • Complete implementation activities identified by the project team.

Common skills:

  • Ability to interpret, synthesize and harmonize conversations or designs involving multiple project resources/roles into succinct business requirements (user stories)
  • Previous large company experience is a huge plus
  • Collaborative attitude
  • Ability to effectively take direction and work somewhat autonomously while staying on task
  • Comfortable with frequent iteration to requirements and test scripts based on feedback from users and business partners
  • Ability to work effectively with partners located remotely via email and phone
  • Must be able to work comfortably on a PC only
