Workday Administrator:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Workday Administrator. In this role the candidate will install and configure software, upgrades, patches and version releases. This position performs trouble-shooting, root cause analysis in order to resolve software issues and minimize downtime to end users of supported applications.


  • Monitor support tickets, troubleshoot and resolve cases in a timely manner according to SLA.
  • Provide acknowledgment, updates and resolution to end user's application support requests
  • Liaise with the IT operations area to facilitate resolution between software applications and any hardware, network or security dependency.
  • Manage/Maintain the security provisioning of Workday, including creating new security groups, maintaining domains and business processes.
  • Create and maintain custom reports as requested from the business units, utilizing report writer tools.
  • Use analytical skills to troubleshoot, identify & resolve data quality and reporting issues
  • Liaison with application vendors through project lifecycle including support.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimizing peak performance and utilization of supported applications.
  • Manage Workday integrations, maintenance of existing and creation of new
  • Perform unit/integration/regression testing for Workday releases and other projects.
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining systems documentation as required.
  • Keep up to date and informed of technology trends around administered applications.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Three years of experience maintaining security groups within Workday
  • One year of experience creating and maintaining documentation of applications specification and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Equivalent combination of education or experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Deep knowledge of Workday security monitoring and controls, including creating and managing security groups.
  • Solid knowledge of Workday integration tools
  • Technical knowledge of databases, report writing tools, data analytics, technical writing.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating system and standard Windows applications.
  • Deep knowledge of applications design, configuration, and administration practices to maximize availability and reliability
  • Understanding of standard application architecture, IT literacy around applications and systems
  • Ability to apply investigative and diagnostic skills in resolving application support issues
  • Ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Strong customer service orientation and awareness
  • Strong communication and active listening skills
