Senior Analyst - Demand Management Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Senior Analyst/Demand Management for an opportunity with a client in Chicago, IL. This role sits in the technology vendor management office, part of the cross functional team, supporting contingent labor managed service vendors. Individual will be responsible for creating a demand management process for tracking resource units across vendors. This role will report to the Technology Governance Manager.


  • Resource Unit Inventory / Reconciliation
  • Define / support process for reporting resource units monthly
  • Build dashboards for reporting resource units against historical trends and contractual commitments
  • Resource Unit Attribution
  • Mapping of resource units and spend from Infrastructure -> Application -> Technology Business Unit -> Line of Business
  • Determine allocation methodology for technology total cost of ownership
  • Utilize various tools such as: ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB), BMC MIPs tracking tool, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), etc.
  • Work with cross functional team to determine approach to control or reduce resource units
  • Expense Forecasting
  • Determine key drivers of resource unit variability and determine process for gathering input to forecast spend based on RU increases/decreases
  • Work with Finance on monthly forecast, accrual input and cost allocations
  • Support vendor manager and procurement in projecting future demand


  • Basic understanding of infrastructure technologies: data center, storage, database, network, computer ops, middleware, end user computing and service desk
  • Basic understanding of application support and ticket management (Incidents, Change, Service Request and Problem)
  • Some finance experience: Forecasting, Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
  • Familiar with ServiceNow and reporting capabilities
  • Ability to articulate technology components to non-tech partners
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
