Financial Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants has an opportunity for a Financial Analyst. Our client's Consumer, Small Business and Wealth Management Technology Finance team is a part of the Technology Forecasting, Reporting and Analytics organization. The primary focus of the team is to provide strong financial support for the day-to-day finance activities for a business unit. Business partners include the BFOs, as well as the LOB managers. Key priorities are P&L planning, forecasting and month-end analysis to enable informed decisions by Business Executives through accurate financial statements and financial commentary demonstrating robust business acumen. In this role the candidate will be responsible for more complex finance activities involving implementation of strategic plans, profitability analysis, forecasting and financial reporting for a business unit or associate area. He/she will support achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. This position leads projects and coordinates resources. Our client is seeking an individual who can manage partner relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for business unit forecast and month-end processes
  • Analyze costs and understand business drivers and levers to influence efficiencies
  • Partner with peers and management to implement process & reporting improvements
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage/sequence multiple deliverables
  • Strong written and oral communications skills with excellent attention to detail

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA (Finance/Accounting Preferred)
  • Advanced Excel, Modeling, Data Manipulation
  • Forecast/Planning Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products with emphasis on strong Excel (macros, pivot tables, look-ups, and filtering) and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills:

  • Self-starter able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Related industry experience and strong financial reporting background
  • SAP / eLedger / Essbase
  • FP&A Experience
  • Financial Statement Analysis Experience
