ERP Programmer Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking an ERP Programmer Analyst to work on a contract position with one of our clients located in Hollywood, FL. The incumbent will be responsible for providing advanced technical expertise for the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions and all interfacing financial systems. This position coordinates and implements technology in support of the ERP systems and enhances all associated business operational needs for the client. The ERP Technical Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a deep understanding of the organization's business functions and processes, and adapting well-planned and coherent solutions in the Human Resources, Procurement and Accounting arenas. This position reports to the ERP and System Integrations Manager and is an exempt position.

  • Maintains Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and related systems across development, test and production environments, through the effective installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of application software and technical infrastructures.
  • Manages application interfaces and system access processes. Consistently maintains superior data protection methodologies and practices.
  • Designs, implements, tests and documents applications using conventional programming languages, to meet specifications in accordance with departmental standards and best programming practices.
  • Analyzes requirements and/or data to determine feasibility of design within time and cost requirements.
  • Designs, and writes scripts, and interfaces with SQL stored procedures, views, tables, triggers and job definitions.
  • Designs and implements system interfaces for importing/exporting data between internal and third party applications.
  • Performs code and data migrations between system environments, ensuring and maintaining code control and compliance policies.
  • Contributes revisions and additions to systems configuration procedures and practices. Develops and maintains appropriate system documentation. Writes system and user documentation.
  • Collaborates with IT management in developing long-range plans for ERP systems development and system enhancements.
  • Proactively reviews system events and monitoring data, and takes corrective action to achieve a highly available and efficient environment.
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes and resolves system incidents. Interfaces with development teams to correct environment faults and ensures customizations are adapted with minimal difficulty.
  • Participates in execution of enterprise records retention initiatives. Works in a team-based development environment with source control.
  • Designs, creates and develops customized Infor Lawson IPA workflows and jobs, as needed.
  • Repairs and recovers ERP systems through identifying failure causes and leveraging available tools.
  • Assists with financial audit requests.
  • Serves in a Tier-2 support role within the Information Technology support structure. Adheres to established support and escalation procedures and maintains in-depth incident and resolution documentation.
  • Demonstrates a high level of service and accountability in the process of resolving requests, supporting daily operations and meeting customer needs.
  • Maintains high awareness and execution of industry security practices. Preserves confidentiality with regard to information being processed, stored, or accessed. Ensures systems and security adhere to best practices and to established IT policies and procedures.
  • Establishes technical credibility and provides leadership to junior support staff.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings and other activities and events as requested.
  • Must be available for emergency support responsibilities 24/7.
  • Must adhere to all client policies and procedures.
  • Performs additional related duties, as required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client and related technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of Infor Lawson System and Security administration or development
  • Advanced knowledge of Infor Lawson applications designed to customize and add functionality to the Infor Lawson applications such as Infor Process Automation and Lawson Business Intelligence.
  • Knowledge and Experience supporting Infor Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications system version 10, including a complete understanding of process flow automation, the design and implementation of IPA process flows using Infor Process Designer, and troubleshooting failed work units in Infor Rich Client.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Lawson Design Studio and Case Tools to customize and maintain customizations in S3 forms and portal pages.
  • Knowledge and experience with Infor Landmark 10, including a complete understanding of configuring integrations using web services. Knowledge and experience customizing Landmark applications using Configuration Console a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with Infor Lawson Smart Office, including the ability to script and maintain customizations using JScript.
  • Knowledge and experience with imaging systems - Hyland Perceptive Content and or Laser Fiche preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Reporting Services and Crystal Reports.
  • Experience supporting line of business applications across a client-server topology.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Demonstrate understanding in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
  • Basic understanding of network topologies and operation.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines, as well as multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • 50% developing, 50% design/maintenance

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field is required
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working in Infor Lawson ERP Experience (Preferably some experience with Lawson v10.) is required
  • Prior programming experience, including but not limited to working knowledge of .NET Framework 3.x/4.0, ASP.NET, Windows Forms, WCF, WPF, ADO.NET, C#, InfoPath, HTML, XML/XSL, JavaScript/JQuery, SQL Server, Transact SQL is required
  • Prior experience managing and executing enterprise level technology projects is preferred
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent English written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to travel to all client locations and work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
