Business Data Management Consultant Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Business Data Management Consultant for an opportunity in Dallas, TX. The Business Data Management Consultant will report to a Data Integrity Manager on the eDQM Domain team. Candidates must be customer service focused with the ability to actively listen, elicit information, comprehend customer issues/needs, and recommend solutions. He or she must have strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy, excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business and technical application owner to write rules requirements on data at rest and obtain control catalogs/metrics around front-end and movement controls
  • Work with the eDQM Profile and Rule team on implementing rule requirements
  • Work with the business application owners on remediating the data

 Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 3+ years of experience in developing data quality rules, including manual and system control processes
  • 3+ years of experience performing data defect analysis and remediation
  • 3+ years of experience producing data artifacts, evidence to demonstrate adherence
  • Knowledge of data models and data supply chain
  • Experience with multiple database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, Hadoop etc.)
  • Experience creating or maintaining data quality dashboards or metrics
  • 2+ years’ experience with reading and understanding complex SQLs
  • 2+ years creating simple SQLs
  • 2+ years of experience with End to End (E2E) testing
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Must be able to adapt to change well
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Customer service focus with the ability to listen to customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Proficient with Visio, MS Word, Power Point and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Metadata Hub
  • Knowledge and understanding of customer data, and credit and deposit products
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial industry compliance requirements
