Build/Release Engineer Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Build/Release Engineer for an opportunity with a client in Saint Paul, MN. The Engineer role will include all phases of software engineering such as requirements analysis, application design and code development and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Designing reusable frameworks, libraries and Java components
  • Working very closely with Architecture group and driving technical solutions
  • Lead technology decisions, drive product implementation and delivery
  • Troubleshooting production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
  • Demonstrate substantial depth of knowledge and experience in a specific area of Big Data and Java development

Skill Requirements:

  • Performance testing experience on enterprise Java systems using Jmeter or Loadrunner
  • CI/CD experience (Jenkins is preferred)
  • Kubernetes platform
  • Big Data Technologies
  • Agile/Scrum methodology
  • 8+ years software engineering
  • 5+ years hands on expertise with Java
